Banana/orange milkshake

After a hard days’ job most people would like to prop up their feet, relax with a chilled healthy drink and a light snack before dinner. It’s refreshing to know that there are healthy options that can be enjoyed in our homes. If you order now you could have these homemade drinks and freshly baked pastries at your door step. We also train.
Banana/orange milkshake, served with home-made coconut cookies.

I just turned 4, and guess what? I got the best cake in the whole world; just the kind of cake I have always been asking for anytime mummy was baking or designing a character cake for a client.
As you can see from the expression of joy spread all over my face, I’m a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). I know you’re wondering why a 4 year old kid would be interested in these teenage action characters, when he should be more concerned with educational cartoon characters like Barney & friends, Bob the builder, Jackanory Junior, Learn to count with Shawn the Train, Peppa Pig……….., well to be fair to Mum and Dad, they always ensure that I get to watch downloaded versions of these programs regularly.
When it comes to cable TV, being the smallest or youngest kid in the block, sort of limits my options concerning the programs I can watch and when I can watch them, based on this scenario, I find myself constrained to watch whatever my older siblings are watching, starting with my favorite, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Thundermans, Henry Danger, Bella and da bulldogs, Game Shakers, 100 things to do b/4 high school (I guess it should be 100 things to do b/4 primary school, since I’m still a nursery pupil).

Have no fear, I usually get to have my way, by screaming on the top of my voice, attracting the attention of Mum & Dad, and before you know it, we all mutually agree on a channel with cartoons like SpongeBob Square pants, Sofia the First and other wonderful cartoons that I can relate with, but nonetheless I don’t joke with TMNT, don’t blame me, I guess I’m growing up too fast…………….

FROM NIGERIA TO ENGLAND

Hi everyone, trust you are having a wonderful weekend. November last year Sweet Life Cakes & Confectionaries designed a cake that travelled from Port Harcourt to Warri, and not too long ago we made another cake that had to travel outside the country (Port Harcourt, Nigeria to Kent, South East England). Who says good works don’t travel far…………

NEW YEAR, NEW IDEAS

Happy new year L&G, and welcome to a year of endless possibilities. I trust you all had a wonderful time with family/friends and as for the parents I know its back to school for those wonderful little/medium size people who look so much like us. Getting them prepped up both physically and mentally is not an easy task I guess. On several mornings my 3yr old (soon to be 4) just feels like chilling while the older ones are ready to step out and I have to start the pep talk to prevent everyone from going late.
My favorite past time is trying out new pastry recipes  with my ever willing little tasters, I get some  helpful comments and they get to take some extra snacks (cookies, apple pie, cupcakes, and quiche) to school. Not surprisingly my kids are really keen on baking, and it got me thinking I really should add simple snack making to my after school prep.

Helping the kids to learn a skill gives one the assurance that they can always put such skills to good use in the future.
